Macromedia Flash was one of the first tools I was exposed to when I began web-development.
It provided what I, and I imagine others, believed was the ideal web experience.
An interface that had as few limitations as their computers desktop.
Unfortunately slow processors and internet speed in the 90's blocked that dream for the most part.
HTML5 promises to replace the need for plugins like Flash in the future. But as not all browsers
have adopted the canvas tags full potential, and it still is quite the resource hog. I think Flash will
be a viable tool for at least the next five years or so.
This area will display some of my Flash abilities including animation and data management using Ajax and other standards.
